apply. The only requirement is that you are 18 years of age or older. |

| As a volunteer participant in phase I studies, it is crucial that you
are healthy. You will receive a health check that includes blood tests and
a heart check-up to make sure you are in a fit state of health before being
accepted. As a volunteer participant, you will receive new medicine in controlled
circumstances. The objective of the studies is to determine how the drug
works in the human organism, how quickly it is absorbed, metabolized and
excreted, and whether there are any side effects. |

| The highest safety |
| As a participant in a phase I trial, you will receive detailed information
– both verbally and in writing – about the test in which you
will participate. You must give written consent in order to participate. |

| The duration of individual studies varies, depending on the drug being
tested. You may be asked to stay with us from as little as a few hours,
to several days and nights. While you are here, you will receive the drug
being tested one or more times, and samples of your blood will be taken. |

| You may experience side effects from the drug. The information you receive
about the drug test in which you are participating will contain detailed
descriptions of possible side effects. During the entire process, you will
be under observation by a team of doctors and nurses. While you are with
us, you will receive all meals and have a bed at your disposal. You will
also have access to the Internet and be able to watch TV, listen to music,
read, etc. |

| Reimbursement |
| When you participate in a drug study at PhaseOneTrials, you will receive
reimbursement for missed work and for the discomfort and inconvenience that
participation entails. Minimum reimbursement is the minimum wage, plus an
additional 100% of this amount as compensation for inconvenience. |
